Donna Redl – Creative Director, lead Instructor
Has been an artist ever since she can remember. With the completion of an Education Degree : Fine Art /Industrial Art major and a graduate of Interior Design, Donna has been collaborating with Architects, Interior Designers and a large client base to create unique Interior spaces and original works of art for exhibitions and galleries over the last 25 years. With her passion for Arts and Crafts, she has been elected to sit on both the Saskatchewan and Canadian Craft Councils over the past several years. Donna has turned to teaching since 2005, coming full circle to teach at the RCCIT/Academy of design. She has most recently offered her talents and passion for the Arts to bring the joy of discovery and creativity to students of all ages through the after school art programming she has developed for the Toronto French school and Montessorie school, as well as the Home Advantage/ Home schooling Group here in Waterdown. Her continuing interest in Arts Education has led her to develop this exciting Arts Program for CREATIVWORKS and the CREATIVE HUB
Katia Liberato Lemos – Creative Insight Studio
Katia Liberato Lemos is the owner and creator of Creative Insight Studio, a ceramic/art studio and mobile pottery school. Since coming alone to Canada from Brazil, she is a graduate of Sheridan College’s Ceramics program, and has been teaching children and adult ceramics classes throughout the Waterdown/Burlington/Oakville area for several years. She is the winner of a scholarship to the Intensive Glazing course at Metchosin Summer School for the Arts, and has been invited for ‘A Sale of the Best of the Regions’ exhibition at the Art Gallery of Hamilton. A gallery artist at several big galleries throughout Ontario, a Betty Kantor award winner, and a mom of 2 kids, Katia is more than happy to come share her passion for pottery to Creativworks
Trevor has been a full time professional Illustrator and Storyboard artist for over 18 years and holds a degree in Classical Animation Filmmaking from Sheridan College. He has been teaching fundamental drawing skills for many years and enjoys helping talented youth bring out their potential. High focus on technical drawing ability, structure, anatomy, perspective, composition, storyboarding etc.
Lee is a landscape Style Artist. His formal education began 30 yrs. ago and continued through his late teens when he studied fine arts at DVA, graphic design at George Brown, Mohawk and Sheridan College. Nature and the outdoors have always played a strong role in his art. Lee has a number of pieces of his artwork exhibited across Canada, the US and Europe and is represented in private and public collections.
Lee is sharing his passion for painting and teaching teen and adult classes at the studio.
